Security Supervisor Briefing

Title – Security Supervisor Briefing
Date – June 1998

Empowering our staff and those people we work with has always been at the forefront of the management style of Beyond The Blue.

When we Manage Events, be it with our staff, external contractors or in-house staff we take the same approach. We have a very structured management for those working under our direction. Through planning and briefings, we direct our managers and supervisors to take direct control of the staff in their areas. We insist that our managers familiarise themselves with the events and staff prior to the briefings they are instructed to provide briefings to the staff under their direct control and expect the highest level of professionalism.

Security & paramedic briefing

Beyond The Blue can work both with the client’s in-house security team, with external contractors and with its own experienced staff. Prior to any large event a specific briefing is carried out in the days before to the event. This will consist of demonstrating systems is areas including communication procedures, fire evacuation, event specifics and close protection arrangements amongst many others. These briefings are then followed-up by a briefing on the day of the event.

Beyond The Blue work closely with a medical response company providing Paramedic Cover for large events. The relationship generated between Beyond The Blue and the paramedic supplier, means that staff and medics know each other well and co-operate efficiently during events to provide high levels of service. We can also provide First Aid Training and the majority of our staff are First Aid trained.

University Ball

Events take place in many different venues and present their own challenges to the Event Management team. Size, shape, capacity, location and environment are all very important considerations in the planning process.

The hurdles that need to be overcome can vary from dealing with local residents and local authorities (as in this case) the significant hurdles presented by running events in a listed building.

As the venues present challenges that need to be overcome, they also provide opportunities to use facilities and aspects of the venue to enhance the experience of your customers. With the backdrop of a listed building the hurdles are more considerable, but the payoff is a spectacular backdrop where the exceptional architecture is combined with the opportunities presented by new technologies.

Beyond The Blue is a training and event management company. We can provide you with support in managing your specific event on all levels or in specific areas.

Our ultimate goal is to ensure that your event is both successful and spectacular and that your customers leave telling all those they meet about the night they have just enjoyed.

Paramedics

Title – Paramedics
Date – June 1998

Paramedics play an important role both in providing emergency medical cover and offering a sense of safety and confidence to our client’s customers.

Beyond The Blue provides Paramedic Cover for events of all sizes. In general we create a well defined base for the paramedics; this may often take the form of a First Aid tent thus offering an additional service to customers.

However the very nature of their duties means that they must remain mobile throughout and on occasions we will place them in high profile positions such as in the pit, so that our clients gain from the added value that their presence provides to any event.
